Our piece for The Cabinetmakers’ Autumn Exhibition 2024.
This year’s theme: (R)evolution
A stack of large wheel-thrown plates in locally sourced low-fired blue clay arranged with crocheted doilies in between.
The stack forms a small table that can be disassembled without the use of tools. This piece of furniture can help you optimize the use of space and lets you serve dinner for up to 36 people without overfilling your cupboards.
On top of the stack, a cup with a swan neck is reflected in the “lake”, underscoring the table’s sculptural value. This furniture sculpture may inspire you to create your own furniture and, perhaps, spark a small revolution in your home.
