Farvekombination

We have found particular inspiration in oriental rugs, where the decoration often contains repetition, reflection and floral motives. With a background in traditional floor ornaments, we have used geometry and reflections to interpret the floral motif, and let the rug appear as one large round flower (Dahlia). The pattern is constructed from circles and this brings depth and dynamic to the round rug.
We believe that the rug has now achieved both a classic royal and a modern funky
appearance.

Inspirationen til Dahlia har vi især fundet i det ægte tæppe, hvis dekoration ofte indeholder gentagelse, spejling, og blomstermotiv. Med afsæt i traditionsrige gulv ornamentikker har vi brugt geometri og spejlinger til at nyfortolke blomstermotivet, og ladet tæppet fremstå som én stor rund blomst (Dahlia). Mønsteret er opbygget af cirkler og det giver det runde tæppe masser af dybde og dynamik. Vi synes selv at tæppet er både klassisk royalt og moderne funky.
